If I were a man that went down with the titanic, I do not believe I could forgive the people involved in the destruction of the titanic. I could not forgive the people who manufactured the boat because, there were not even enough life boats for all of the passengers, in case of such an emergency. I also would not be able to forgive the captain of the titanic because, he repeatedly ignored specific warnings about icebergs up ahead, and did not even bother to reduce his speed when he was told to do so.

forgiveness

I could forgive a tobacco industry executive that lies to a committe about the effects of smoking because, people should already know about smoking and its effects. They should also understand that the tobacco companies are just trying to make money and are probably willing to lie about it. I could forgive him because its his job.

pity

            I do not think that i could have forgiven the Nazi soldier if I was in the main character's situation. I do not believe i could have found any forgiveness for him because he has, and would always have, more than me. He had more than me, at the moment, because he used to have the ability to come and go, and do whatever he pleased, and I did not possess that luxury. Also, he would always have more than me, even in death, he would have his own little plot of land in which to be buried,while i, on the other hand, would eventually be lying in a ditch, which would serve as a mass grave in which i would eternally rest.
